In this online class we will be exploring both common blues riffs and techniques that are found in the language of blues harp. The riffs we learn will come from 1st, 2nd and 3rd position.
While learning these great blues riffs, we will also dive into the techniques that bring these musical ideas to life (dirty notes, hand wah, vibrato, tongue techniques etc.). The examples we learn will provide you with some solid "blues harp language" to work on over various styles of blues. We will also discuss strategy for choosing positions for improvisation. A simple class handout will be included.
